Symbiosis
Piazza Olivetti is the first public space created as part of the Symbiosis project: an example of how European funds are used for the realization of sustainable projects. Realization of modern buildings in the name of environmental sustainability: you can find specimens of cherry trees in bloom in the humid forests of Lombardy, perennial shrub and herbaceous species which, composing different seasonal blooms, reproduce the development of the spontaneous vegetation typical of the ruins of industrial areas. The three fountains evoke the system of waterways of the nearby agricultural park in southern Milan. It is an example of how the urban environment can be renewed and improved, while maintaining respect for its ancient soul and balance with the nature in which it is immersed.
